Narayanpur News: In the village of Gadhbengal, lives Sangeeta Mandavi, a young woman with dreams as vibrant as the fabric she works with. Sharing her inspiring journey, Sangeeta said “After completing my 12th-grade studies, I pursued sewing training at a local center and started my work. I did not have enough money to purchase a sewing machine for myself. Fate took a favourable turn when my friend informed me about an empowering government initiative – Mukhyamantri Rozgaar Srijan Karyakram, which offers loans with a 35 per cent grant amount”.

Feeling encouraged, Sangeeta wasted no time and promptly contacted the Khadi Gramodyog Department, determined to seize the opportunity that lay before her. Adhering to all the stipulated guidelines, she filled out the loan application form and submitted it to the department.

The department conducted thorough evaluations and approved a generous loan of Rs 3 lakh, specifically for her sewing center. She earns a monthly income ranging from Rs 6,000 to 7,000. With her hard-earned income, she not only provides support to her family but also consistently fulfils her loan obligations. She has extended her heartfelt thanks to Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, recognizing his commitment to empowering the youth of Chhattisgarh.
