Raipur, September 8: ITSA Hospitals, Raipur, is celebrating World Physiotherapy Day today, marking the end of a week-long “Physio Carnival” that began on September 1, held under the theme of healing and inspiring with every movement.
The event brought together patients, staff, and the hospital family for activities highlighting the importance of physiotherapy in everyday health.

The initiative was led by Dr. Tanushree Neral, HOD, Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, a BPT, MPT (Musculoskeletal) Gold Medallist with over 15+ years of experience, under whose guidance the department of more than 25 physiotherapists continues to strengthen advanced rehabilitation services at ITSA Hospitals.
Each day of the carnival had a special theme dedicated to a different group connected with the hospital, while also offering an opportunity to highlight the hospital’s rehabilitation facilities, clinical expertise, and patient-centred approach.
The week began with Rhythm: Move Together, Heal Together, where everyone, including the hospital staff, gathered in sporty clothes for physical fitness activities. The day also drew attention to the role of structured movement and specialized rehabilitation resources in supporting safe and effective recovery.
The full week was dedicated to involving patients in fun, physically challenging activities, where patients and their families were engaged and felt motivated, reminding everyone that healing is easier with support.
The occasion also highlighted ITSA Hospitals Central India’s most advanced neurological rehabilitation services and its range of specialized technologies, including the Robotic Gait Trainer, Robowalk, Robotic Arm & Hand Trainers, Robotic Spinal Decompression, Antigravity Treadmill, Artificial Intelligence, and robotic-assisted physiotherapy, which support rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, spinal health, sports injuries, improving mobility and spine health, as well as treating orthopaedic conditions.
