Good Clinical Laboratory Practices Workshop at Pt JNM Medical College Raipur

A workshop on Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP) was conducted at Pt JNM Medical College Raipur under the umbrella of the Academic Cell Committee. The event was held under the patronage of Dean, Dr Vivek Chaudhary, and by Dr Nidhi Pandey, HOD, Ophthalmology, and Dr Varsha Pandey, Associate Professor Pathology and Secretary, Academic Cell.

The workshop highlighted the importance of standard operating procedures and protocols in laboratory practices. Course Coordinator Dr Rabia Parveen Siddiqui, Professor & HOD Pathology, discussed the evolution of GCLP and emphasized the ICMR 2021 updates and NMC compulsory essentials criteria for postgraduate students. This initiative aligns with the centrally sponsored healthcare institute’s goals, enhancing the institution’s academic and research profile so the workshop reflects JNMMC’s commitment to promoting quality education and research, benefiting students, faculty, and the broader healthcare community.

The workshop was supported by Dr Nikita Sherwani, Dr Sneha Dadariya, Dr Vanita Bhaskar, Dr Prabha Thakur, Dr Neha Sarjal, and Miss Pratibha Sarkar.

The event aimed to promote awareness and implementation of GCLP in medical laboratories, enhancing the quality of diagnostic services and research.
